Curriculum
Age: 3 & 4 years
Our curriculum finds its roots in the understanding that children, even in their later years, benefit from learning methods that incorporate tangible experiences with thematic content, which can help them grasp complex ideas by relating them to familiar, real-world contexts. It is only when these foundations have been developed that abstract learning can begin.

Babybums is an owner-run educational institution which aims to build lasting relationships between the parents, children and teachers. We lovingly boast with 3 Head of Campus whom are available on-site every day.

Our Staff
We hold a stable staff retention, ensuring consistency for your child from day 1. We only employ qualified & passionate teachers and boast with an excellent child-teacher ratio in each age group.
Extended hours
We are conveniently open from 6:30am – 6:15pm, Monday to Friday. We are open in school holidays and run a 3 week December and January.
Developmental Campus
We lovingly boast 3 separate developmental campuses, ensuring continuity for your child from birth up to 6 years. Each campus has 6 or more Developmental environments.
Kwanda Kinetics
‘Kwanda Kids Fun’ is a group-based neuromotor and perceptual program for children between 12 months - 7 years of age. This fun, innovative program has a preventative, improving and therapeutic nature, and is presented at school
Secure grounds
Fully secured with CCTV, electric fencing, security guards, ADT patrols and perimeter CCTV monitoring
Communication
Direct communication via Whatsapp for each Campus, direct contact with our principal, curricular newsletters, email and reminders via Childcloud app
Childcloud App
All in one app that gives you full transparency of the school and your child's schooling experience. These include school calendar, invoices, reminders, emails, academic reports and so much more, available at your fingertips.

Our Sprout Family
We pride ourselves in our mindful approach to learning, teaching and creating an environment where our little Seedlings, Sprouts and Saplings have space to spread their roots and grow into individuals. Elize Hendrikz and Liezl Kotzé, a mother /daughter duo has created a loving, caring, homely environment in which to nurture and educate each little learner that comes across our path. Our qualified and passionate teachers share in our vision and follow our personalised pedagogical approach.
Sprout Development Focus
This environment focuses mainly on development of the Thinking Brain or the Cognitive Brain that is used for logical/linear thinking but also integrates abstract concepts through concrete experiences to enrich our understanding and evaluations of life.
Our Concrete Play Based applications and activities ensure all 6 ELDA’s and applied CAPS requirements are fully explored. We aim to go above and beyond when working with our little
ones to ensure their educational needs are met by working with individuals on a personal level.
Through mindful presentation of the educational

Curriculum
Our Concrete Play Based applications and activities ensure all 6 ELDA’s and CAPS requirements are fully explored. We aim to go above and beyond when working with our little ones to ensure their educational needs are met by working with individuals on a personal level. The core of our pedagogy is to:
1. Guide/Facilitate rather than instruct.
2. Offer a space for individual expression rather than duplication.
3. Collaborate rather than divide.
4. Document events rather than just report back.
We continually research educational trends and implement new-aged methods to further develop and grow our little seedlings into strong-rooted individuals.
We work as a small community at BabyBums Randburg whereby learners assist each other, learn from each other and lend a helping hand with daily chores i.e. assisting in the kitchen with food preparation and general cleaning up.
We use an array of programmes and teaching methods that focus on their timing and systematic introductions
to routines, sequences and games, maximising your child’s brain development in the most natural way.
